In 1910 Italian born Egisto Orlandi opened Orlandi Statuary in Chicago, Illinois. With his expertise in mold making, casting and sculpting. His reputation for recreating exceptional artwork for museums, churches and designers set the standard in the industry. Over 100 years later the Orlandi Family continues to create art and décor with high standards.
Presently the Orlandi collection encompasses many designs to include: religious statuary, fountains, columns and pedestals. The factory and showroom are still proudly located in Chicago. A staff of sculptors, artisians, mold makers and casters create unique designs for the home décor and commercial industry.
Orlandi Statuary has pioneered casting items in both light weight “fiber stone” & “fiberglass” materials in an array of colors. The fiber stone material is approx. ¼ the weight of cement so it can be easily moved and is less fragile as well. Fiber stone is a mixture of stone cast directly into the surface then reinforced with fiberglass backing. Next it is carefully stained to give the appearance of aged concrete that has been weathered over time. Each piece is unique with its own imperfections.
